Define a title for your document
Use the <title>
tag in the page’s <head>
. Search engines use the content of this tag in order to display your website in the SERPs.
Optimize your titles for search engines:
- Approx. the first 70 characters (incl. spaces) of the title are displayed in the search results.
- Use the most important keywords of the page in your title.
- Use a combination of different terms (product name, city name, industry etc.), e.g. Download ASEOPS (AceBIT SEO Professional Suite).
- Use delimiters like | or - or >
- Use an individual title for each page.
